Frequently Asked Questions
DJ Tony C
Entertainment is sole
proprietorship business,
so the success of your event is very important to me. Some DJ services employ multiple DJ's with varying levels of
experience. With larger companies like these, the person you talk to
and the DJ that actually performs at your event may be two different
people. When you choose DJ Tony C Entertainment, Tony Schwartz will
be your DJ.
What are your rates? How much will my event cost?
To be fair, I cannot give a generic quote. Each event has
its own factors that make up the total cost. The price of a
four hour wedding will differ from a four hour school dance, and so
on. Check the page that fits your event and try my automatic
price estimate generator, but for an exact amount, feel free to
contact me to discuss your event!
What is your experience? How many events have you done?
I have been a disc jockey since 2005. In that time I
have performed numerous events including weddings, school dances, college
dances, house parties, sporting events, and more.
What is your standard attire?
I tend to dress tailored to the event. For most weddings and formal events, expect a nice shirt
and tie with dress pants. For informal events, such as dance
parties, expect a look more similar to the music I will be playing
and the dance's theme. My attire will always be confirmed by
you during the consultation meeting.
Do you have a contract?
Yes. Because a contract is a mutual agreement between two parties
with complete understanding of terms, conditions, and expectations,
I find it vital that both parties sign to a contract. I keep
my contract simple, straight-forward, fair, and similar to many
other premier DJs in the region. With a signed contract for
both parties, you will be guaranteed my services and commitment to
your event by law.
Do you take requests?
I ENCOURAGE AND THRIVE OFF REQUESTS! This is your party and I
want you to be involved in the music selection! During the
consultation meeting, you will be given a music request sheet where
you can pick what songs you want to hear, or would like not to be
played. As long as I receive that sheet one week in advance of
the event, I guarantee I will have your songs on hand to be played!
Along the same line, please do not pick out every song you want
played during the hours of service, as a set play list ruins a good
party. I will use my DJ skills to read the crowd and play what
will keep them dancing to the best of my abilities.
Will you also be the Master of Ceremonies
(MC)?
Of course! I will handle all of the various announcements
throughout the night. And for most people, the greatest fear is
public speaking, thus, I will provide a wireless microphone so
toasts and other announcements can be made from anywhere! This
provides a sense of security for the person making the speech so
they can relax and make their announcement.
Do you require a deposit? What is your cancellation policy?
Yes. By contract, I require a 50%
booking deposit due at the signing of the contract. This is applied
to the total performance fee. The remaining balance is due no later
than the day of your event.
I also offer a 10% discount if you pay your balance in full at the
signing of the contract.
In the event of cancellation, if you cancel within 30 days of your
event, only your deposit amount is forfeited. If the
cancellation occurs within 14 days of the event, the client is
responsible for the total amount OR may forfeit the deposit by
signing a new contract with DJ Tony C Entertainment within 14 days
of the cancellation for a substitute engagement within six months.
A cancelled event due to weather is subject to no penalty. All
rescheduled events are subject to availability.
